The current theological concerns facing the ELCA will be addressed and followed by an opportunity for questions. There is no cost for attending (a free-will offering will be taken). 2:15pm – “Reformation II” by The Rev. James Nestingen
Taught church history at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, from 1980-2006. He has written
and spoken prolifically on Luther's catechisms and confessional Lutheran theology.
3:30pm – “So Here We Are” by The Rev. Ken Sauer
Served as Bishop of the Ohio Synod, LCA from 1973-1987, Bishop of the Southern
Ohio Synod-ELCA from1987-1996, & chaired the Conference of Bishops 1992-1996.
5:30pm – Close (Dinner on your own)
7:30pm – Holden Evening Prayer at First Lutheran, 327 S Dakota, Nestingen preaching
