Sola Publishing, one of the partner ministries Lutheran Core, has produced a new women's and men's group Bible study for 2009, entitled: “One For All: Experiencing the Exclusive Claim of Christ.”
This nine-session Bible study, written by Pastor Steven E. King, explores the center of our faith by focusing on the unique and exclusive promise of salvation in Christ. It examines not only the claims that Jesus made about himself in Scripture, but the claim that the Lord makes on our lives as well.
“In this study, I think people will see right away what we mean when we say that Sola Publishing is interested in producing materials that reflect a respect for God’s Word and the integrity of the Lutheran faith,” said Pastor King. “We want to provide a biblically- and confessionally-grounded alternative to studies that are available elsewhere.”
By focusing the promise that "the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all" (2 Corinthians 5:14), the study makes an unashamed presentation of salvation in Christ alone. It also seeks to show how God makes us a part of His mission to spread this good news to our neighbors.
